Art History 200: As a declared Art Major, this course taught me primarily the historical context, impact, and iconography alongside iconic eras of art. Working my way from cave paintings, through the Renaissance, all the way to Pollock and Picasso, this course highly impacted my appreciation and understanding of art moving forward.

Classics 122 The Ancient Greco-Roman World: This course, through rulers, social classes, wars, cities, archaeology and mythology, led me into a refined understanding of the ancient, classical world; from Troy to Athens, and all the way to Ptolemy, Caesar, and Rome.

Humanities 101: Humanities First / Foundations was an engaging and highly enriching class. Socially, Humanities drew me out of my comfort zone more than any other class, impressing in me a new found confidence as a freshman in college. Working in assigned teams, building a public profile, and producing unique essays with inspired and thought-provoking prompts, my group of professors went above and beyond my expectations for an introductory level course. I began this course as it related to my major and it's description quite simply engrossed my attention. Upon its completion, however, not only would I highly recommend this course but furthermore I highly commend the team of teachers behind its construction. Despite being my lowest credit course, Humanities was a class I would look forward to. I worked observing and understanding the Roma people through Cervantes, World Wars, and modern-day media. I personally engaged in Nietzsche's philosophies through trial and error in video games. I learned to overcome virtual obstacles and translate that to the physical world. I read the narratives of Joseph Conrad, as we travailed the dark heart of colonialism and imperialism in the late 19th century. I worked as part of a team, producing public Instagram posts detailing and directly engaging with an audience through the theme of "Journeys". Overall, Humanities 101 was a highly engaging, unique, and enjoyable, experience building course.
